The European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly 2026 – one of the most significant geoscientific conferences in the world – will take place from 3 to 8 May 2026 at the Austria Center Vienna in Vienna, Austria, as well as in a hybrid online format. Each year, around 20,000 researchers from across the globe come together to present and discuss the latest scientific findings spanning all disciplines of the Earth, planetary, and space sciences.

The ESA Climate Change Initiative (CCI) programme will once again have a prominent presence at EGU this year: numerous projects from the ESA CCI portfolio will be participating in the event with presentations, posters, and contributions, showcasing the latest results of their work on satellite-based climate observations to an international scientific audience.

The agenda for the ESA CCI contributions as well as ESA booth presentations can be found below. For further information about the event and the full programme, please visit the official EGU2026 website: https://www.egu26.eu/home.html
