The ESA CCI Land Surface Temperature project is holding a User Workshop on 12-14 May 2026 at the Met Office, Exeter, UK. Further information about the LST_cci project can be found at https://climate.esa.int/en/projects/land-surface-temperature/. The event will be held in collaboration with a training event provided by the ESMValTool team (https://esmvaltool.org); ESMValTool is a community diagnostic and performance metrics tool for evaluation and analysis of Earth system models.
This event will be held in-person although we are also exploring hybrid options.
Topics for this workshop will include (but are not limited to):
- An overview of the LST_cci project, and its products and outputs
- User requirements for satellite LST
- User application for satellite LST
- Training in using ESMValTool, including use of LST in evaluating Earth System Models.
