Call for abstracts: The 7th LAKES Workshop on Parametrization of Lakes in Numerical Weather Prediction and Climate Modelling
Call for abstracts
This workshop, that will be held in Milan (Italy) from November 20 to 22, 2024, explores the interactions between inland water bodies, such as lakes and reservoirs, and the atmosphere, in order to improve the coupling between these two key components of the hydrological cycle.
The workshop also aims to bring together scientists working on various aspects of lake-atmosphere feedback and the interaction of lakes with regional and global climate. It is open to researchers from related disciplines such as physical limnology, remote sensing of inland waters, atmospheric physics and hydrology.
