European entities interested in participating the European Space Agency's new climate programme, which will run from 2023-2029, are invited to attend an online information day on 10 May.
The programme of activities builds and extends on current activities undertaken as part of ESA's current Climate Change Initiative. The session will cover the programme's aims and objectives, the main themes of activity and highlight upcoming tender opportunities.
The main themes of the new programme include the following:
- R&D to extend and expand ESA's Essential Climate Variables portfolio
- Cross ECV applications inc. Paris Agreement support and tipping points research
- Linking observations and modelling
- Knowledge Exchange
