Extension of SL_CCI+ coastal sea level product now available

Along-track high-resolution (20 Hz) Sea Level Anomalies published

An extension (v1.1) of the Sea Level CCI+ XTRACK-ALES coastal sea level product is available. The along-track high-resolution (20 Hz) Sea Level Anomalies are now available from the period 2002-2018 based on the missions Jason-1, Jason-2 and Jason-3 in six regions of the coastal world ocean including the Mediterranean Sea, North-East Atlantic, West Africa, North Indian Ocean, South-East Asia and Australia.

Access to the product is described in the Data page of this site and the Product User Guide is available in the Key Documents section.

This product has been used to derive a thematic coastal sea level product, which consists of monthly-averaged post-processed SLAs and the associated trends estimated along the track of 429 selected coastal sites. This product is described in a dedicated publication.

Future versions of the XTRACK-ALES product are expected including a spatial extension around Africa and the use of the Envisat and SARAL/AltiKa altimeter missions.
